Time to mount a key-mo muzzle device. The BRN barrel is thin with the ⅝" gas block. That leaves little to no barrel for a shoulder for the muzzle device. In hindsight I wouldn't have copied the BRN design.

Web1 jun. 2024 · The KS-47 does not lock open nor can it be locked open, so you need to use the charging handle a lot more often. Plus the .308 buffer spring makes bolt racking a little harder. At some point, I’ll might add a flash can, even though the 10.5”, 7.62X39 is not as obnoxious as my 10.5” 5.56’s are, it can’t hurt. dr nathan mitkoff albany nyWeb25 feb. 2024 · Well it happened after about 200 rounds extractor just sheared off. I put adjustable gas block on it, but didn’t dial it back any yet. Guess I should have… contacted PSA about 2 weeks ago, they said they would send an extractor. It's weird because it locks back by hand but it's very obvious that it is mechanical contact that is keeping the bolt from going all the way back. The buffer is 2.5" long end to rubber end. The spring is only 11" long which seems short. But regardless the bolt could never go further back into the tube.
