I accidentally turned off nutrition depletion in the custom difficulty and didn’t notice until I was too far in to bother to do it again. I just now got to the (spoilers) gold mine and saved at the calendar. Is there any possible way of changing it to normal mid game? I tried to play through the game a 2nd time half a year later but there was a bug that made resources spawn way too much and I stopped playing because it was too easy. Nowadays there are respawning trees and farming, I imagine those make the game a little bit easier too.

Controlling the game itself is a nightmare and makes the game’s intentional tedium frustrating instead of immersive. The menu wheel is touchy and somewhat delayed. WebIt's harder. If you’re just going for the trophy instead of actually building camps and playing then just go to all the important spots to gather the items needed to finish the game and skip the extra areas. Only build camps and fires when needed. Did it this way and finished in about two hours with a friend.

WebThe learning curve is definitely more steep in Green Hell. The game is great alone, maybe tedious on the building part, but with a partner it is much better. There's the predators of the jungle who will attack you and the natives. There's a bunch of stuff that will try to kill you and most of the time succeed.
WebI really wanted to play on it with the actual game mechanics enabled, but there was no in game way to change difficulty mid game for some retarded reason, so I decided to try and edit the save file itself. I found where the saves were in my files, and found out that I couldn’t open a .sav file without some kind of software.
WebDec 3, 2024 · The hardest mode "green hell" has perma death and it seems like you get attacked more often there (I did not try it myself yet). The "walk in the park" easy mode doesn't have much danger in it (no hostile natives, no predators).
