The case is similar to Dan's, with ogee feet, but less ornate (no inlay). Like his, It has an iron dial with a bird in the lunette and no winding holes, so presumably a 30 hr. brass movement. In it, David is listed as a clock and watch maker. Just a handful of years later, David was to enlist in the army as a private in the War of 1812.
