WebJul 14, 2008 · I was just at Blizzard Beach, and stopped in the shop on the way out specifically with this thread in mind. I saw a few Ice Gator items (namely a plush, some pins, a couple t-shirts) but no plush. Actually, there were very few Blizzard-exclusive items in the place (what else is new, right?). WebThat’s when Ice Gator, Blizzard Beach’s mascot, appeared splashing around in the melted leftover pools from the snow. That’s when the idea of converting the ski resort into a water park was born. Chair lifts could continue to take guests up Mount Gushmore. This time for water slides instead of skiing.
