Ashik Kerib (Georgian: აშიკ-ქერიბი) ("strange ashik") is a 1988 Soviet art film directed by Dodo Abashidze from Georgia and Sergei Parajanov from Armenia that is based on the short story of the same name by Mikhail Lermontov.
